How long is the Bubble Rush route?
The event is 5km long which is approximately 3.5 miles.

Can I run the route?
You can run, walk, skip or even toddle your way around our foam-filled 5k!

Is the run timed?
As the event is not competitive, we will not be timing you as you make your way around the course. If you would like to know your time, please feel free to time yourself on the day!

At The Torbay Velopark in Paignton. The full address is Penwill Way, Paignton TQ4 5JR

Where do I Park?
Parking is available at Quay West Car Park for Bubble Rushers at a reduced rate of £2 between the hours of 10am and 6pm. Please use the parking permit that will be sent to you to qualify for the reduction, as charges are being enforced on the day. Spectators can also park at Quay West but standard prices apply.

What time will I need to arrive?
The bubbly fun will kick off at 11am with music from The Breeze and food and drinks stalls in the Event Village. Nearer the date of the Bubble Rush you will be given the time your run will start. Please ensure that you arrive in plenty of time for the start of your run, in order for us to register your arrival on the day.

Can I buy merchandise on the day?
We will have plenty of merchandise available for you to buy, so please ensure you bring some money with you.

Is there somewhere to store my bags?
Yes, there will be a bag drop at the event for you to store a small bag containing your belongings. This is provided free of charge but donations will be warmly received. Please note that you should leave any large items along with valuables at home.

Will there be toilets at the event?
There will be plenty of toilets provided for use on the day.

What refreshments will be available?
There will be a selection of caterers on-site at the event, so please bring along some money so that you can enjoy their delicious food and drinks. We will also have Bays Brewery on-site, providing a bar service to participants and spectators over the age of 18.

What should I wear?
Whatever you like, but we’d recommend clothing that’s comfortable for you to run in, or feel free to turn up in fancy dress! Please be aware that the bubble solution may leave stains on some clothing and be sure to wear comfortable, secured footwear (no flip flops or sandals!)

Will I get wet?
There is a chance that you will get wet as you go through the bubble stations, so you might want to wear swimwear underneath your clothing. You should consider bringing a towel, a change of clothes or some warm clothing for after you have completed your run. Please note that there are no showers or changing facilities on-site.

Can I bring spectators?
Of course you can bring spectators with you on the day, we love seeing everyone cheering on our brilliant Bubble Rush participants!

Who can take part in the Bubble Rush?
The Bubble Rush is open to everyone aged three and over so feel free to bring the whole family for a foam-filled day of fun!

Is the event wheelchair accessible?
The event is planned with wheelchair users in mind and the route of the event is relatively flat and level.

If I change my mind and no longer wish to take part, can my entry fee be refunded?
Sorry to hear that you don’t want to take part in the event anymore. Unfortunately, places are non-refundable, but can be transferred up until Friday 25 August 2017. If you would like to transfer your place to a friend, please get in touch with the team by calling 01803 217641 or emailing events@rowcroft-hospice.org.uk

How do I set up an online donation page?
- Go to www.justgiving.co.uk
- Click ‘Get Started’
- Log in / create an account
- Click ‘create your page’
- Select ‘Rowcroft Hospice’ as your charity
- Select ‘organised event’
- Personalise your page with photos and text

How do I pay in my sponsor money?
There are a number of ways you can pay in your sponsorship money:
- On the day: bring your sponsor forms and cash/cheques
- Online: visit www.rowcrofthospice.org.uk/sponsorship
- By credit card over the phone on 01803 217641, Mon-Fri 9am-5pm
- By posting it to ‘Freepost RTKK-UJRJ-XBKS, Fundraising, Rowcroft Hospice, Avenue Road, Torquay, TQ2 5LS’
- By bank transfer using account number: 05977703 and sort code: 55-70-01, referencing 'The Bubble Rush 2017 sponsorship'

Whichever method you choose, please ensure cheques are made payable to Rowcroft Hospice, and please send us your sponsor forms to enable us to claim that all important Gift Aid.

Do I need to do anything to move my JustGiving sponsorship to Rowcroft?
No, as long as you have selected Rowcroft as your chosen charity the funds will be automatically transferred into our accounts. Once your page has closed we will calculate your final sponsorship amount and send you your official thank you letter.

I don’t want to collect sponsorship, is there another way I can support Rowcroft?
Yes, if you are over 18 you can set up a standing order/direct debit to make a monthly donation to the hospice

How do I set up a monthly donation?
It’s really easy! Just visit our make-a-monthly-donation page online and sign up today.
