Become a Community Volunteer

We could not do what we do without our marvellous voluntary support network.  They come from all walks of life and give their time freely across the hospice.

Our Friends of Rowcroft have provided invaluable support and funds over many years.  They organise fundraising events and tirelessly promote awareness of the work and funding of Rowcroft Hospice.

Likewise, our Ambassadors happily attend various events across the 300 sq miles we cover, flying the flag for Rowcroft and working on new ways to raise essential funds for us.

Events such as The Sleep Walk and The Colour Rush could not happen without the hundreds of trusty volunteers who help set up, marshal, man stalls, make tea, and generally cheer the participants on!

We really appreciate the amazing support all these people give us.

We are now looking to build a network of Community Fundraising Volunteers who would be willing to give a little time every now and then to help out at events run by our supporters. Bag packing, bucket collections, marshalling – just a couple of hours can make such a difference and it is great fun!

If you would like to join our trusty volunteer network, please contact Debbi on 01803 210833 or email at

"Our volunteers donate time, expertise and wonderful smiles; they are a vital part of everything we do"
