Hyundai Torbay supports Rowcroft Hospice
15 February 2016
Rowcroft Hospice is urging South Devon to look out for two new cars that have been loaned to the hospice by Hyundai Torbay.
The agreement between South Devon’s local hospice and the number one name for Hyundai in the South West, Hyundai Torbay, will continue throughout 2016.
The main dealer of new and used Hyundai Cars has loaned a Tucson and i10 to the hospice.
The aim of the two cars is to help raise awareness of Rowcroft Hospice across the South Devon region, beginning with its flagship, sell-out event, The Sleep Walk, which opened for registration earlier this month.
Events manager for Rowcroft, Daniel Robson, explained: “The two cars very generously loaned to us by Hyundai Torbay have been transformed into official Sleep Walk vehicles with our event logos and some fun artwork to suit our 80s theme for 2016.
“We are hugely grateful to Hyundai Torbay for their support and for helping us to promote this very exciting event.”
Adam Millard, Sales and Marketing Manager at Hyundai Torbay, said: “We were looking to support a couple of charities during 2016, the work that Rowcroft do and the tremendous service they provide made them an obvious choice for us.”
Rowcroft’s Sleep Walk is taking place on Saturday 9th July and invites all ladies over ten-years-old to complete their choice of a five or ten mile night walk starting from 7.30pm at Torbay Leisure Centre.
