Leave a Gift in Your Will
Support your family, support your local hospice.
Donations in Wills, also known as legacies or gifts, are a vital source of funds for Rowcroft. Once your loved ones have been provided for, it would be wonderful if you could leave a donation to Rowcroft Hospice.
A gift, large or small, will make a real difference to people’s lives.
It is straightforward and inexpensive to have a Will drafted by a qualified professional; Rowcroft, partner with a number of South Devon solicitors. You can also look out for our Make a Will Week, which takes place every May. For one week our participating South Devon solicitors waive their entire fee for making or updating your Will in return for a donation to Rowcroft.
Donation to Rowcroft
A Will isn’t solely about passing on your assets; it gives you an opportunity to make your future wishes known to family and friends. Simply collecting donations at a funeral can make a huge difference; helping our teams of health and social care professionals to support families living with life-limiting illnesses in South Devon to share precious time together.
How to remember Rowcroft in your Will
A Residuary Gift - Once your family has been cared for and debts and expenses paid, you may consider leaving part of your estate to Rowcroft e.g. 1% of the residue of your estate.
A Pecuniary Gift - A fixed gift of money e.g. £1,000.
A Specific Gift - This can be anything from clothing, furniture or a piece of jewellery.
Charitable gifts in Wills are not subject to inheritance tax, so you can be assured that any gift you make to Rowcroft Hospice would be realised in full.
