Learning Objectives:

  • To consider the impact of disease, illness and disability on a person’s sexuality, sexual functioning and intimate relationships.
  • To share and explore ideas about how health care workers address sexuality as part of holistic care.
  • To discuss and share strategies about how professional carers negotiate normal social and sexual boundaries and the impact for people approaching the end of their lives.




Alex Moseley – Psychotherapeutic Counsellor in private practice, currently working with patients at a local cancer centre and with a background in training and delivering sexual health services
