Fundraising and Event Support

Rowcroft Hospice organises a wide range of fundraising activities and is always looking for volunteers to support these events, both before the day and at the event itself.

These fundraising events quite simply wouldn’t happen without the small army of volunteers who support the events and we are always on the look out for willing helpers, from envelope stuffers to marshals and performers to van drivers. Your skills, experience and time are invaluable to us.

Pre-event activities include administrative jobs like photocopying, filling envelopes and preparing ‘goody bags’ for the day, but will also involve setting up at the venue in readiness for the event.

On the day of the event there are many activities that the organisers will turn to volunteers to help with. These include event reception and registration, organising and working on the refreshment area and selling hospice merchandise.

Then there is also, of course, the need for help with clearing up at the end of the event !

If you fancy getting involved then please get in touch with us. Let us know what you are interested in doing and how much time you can offer, and we will do our best to get you involved! Call Laura on 01803 210835 or email events@rowcroft-hospice.org.uk

In return for your support we can offer a boost to your CV, a letter of reference or just the opportunity to be involved and meet new faces.

In addition to the events organised by the hospice there are a wide range of fundraising activities organised by the Friends of Rowcroft. Please visit their area of the website if you would like more information on how you could help them with the tremendous work they do to support us.
