Hospice Shops

ASSISTANT AND DUTY MANAGER

Torbay and South Devon based

37.5 hours per week (5 working days to include Saturdays)

Band 3: £13,095 - £17,732

Rowcroft Hospice has 9 very successful charity shops across South Devon. This post has a dual role:

• To work closely with the Paignton Shop Manager to maximise sales of furniture and all donated stock. To help collect and deliver donated goods to shops as required;

• To act as Duty Manager in all our other shops to cover the Shop Managers’ leave. To work alongside the volunteers of that shop to continue to maximise sales and profit in the Manager’s absence.

Previous experience in the retail industry would be advantageous.

DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR

25-30 hours per week to include Mondays and Fridays

Band 3: £13,095-£17,732 pro rata

We care about people

We are seeking a Database Administrator to help with maintaining and updating Rowcroft’s donor database, a vital fundraising tool for the hospice.

The post holder will have experience of working with databases and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including mail merge. The post requires accurate data entry skills with strong numeracy and written skills. Due to the nature of the post, tact and sensitivity are essential, as well as a keen eye for detail.
