Chronic Oedema

From 1st October 2016, the Chronic Oedema service will be managed and provided by Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation.

The plans are for the service to be delivered by the same staff whom currently provide this service. Until further notice, the clinics will continue to be provided in the Outpatient Centre at Rowcroft Hospice.

One change you may notice is that a receptionist will no longer be available in the waiting area. We ask that, on arrival, you report to the Chronic Oedema Secretary, via the hatch in the waiting room, to say you have arrived. Please also sign yourself into the visitor’s book before taking a seat. A Nurse Practitioner will come to collect you for your appointment as soon as she has concluded her previous patient appointment.

If you have any queries about the service following the change in provider, please speak to your Chronic Oedema nurse in the first instance, or contact the NHS PALS service on 0800 0282037.
