Giving in Memory
Everyone copes with bereavement in different ways. We may lose a loved one, but they live on in our hearts and memories.
A donation is a very special way to remember the life of a relative or friend.
"Life is eternal, and love is immortal, and death is only a horizon, and a horizon is nothing save the limit of our sight."
Rossiter Worthington Raymond 1840 - 1918
In Memoriam Events
We hold two special services of remembrance in July and December linked to In Memoriam appeals; Meadow of Memories and Light up a Life.
Meadow of Memories
Every year we create a flower meadow in Rowcroft’s arboretum, within the hospice grounds. The meadow becomes a beautiful and tranquil place to sit and walk with swathes of annual flowers amongst the many varieties of trees that grow there. Find out more here.
Light up a Life Celebrations
Christmas is a time of celebration and sharing but also a time to reflect with family and friends.
Rowcroft Hospice invites everyone, not just those touched by hospice care, to celebrate the memory of loved ones at this special time of year. Find out more here.
Donations instead of flowers
Giving donations to Rowcroft instead of funeral flowers is a wonderful way to remember your loved one at this very sad time. This gift has added meaning because by supporting us you will help us to continue providing care to local people and their families.
We can provide you with special donation envelopes, which will enable the hospice to claim Gift Aid on donations given. This increases the amount given by 25%, at no extra cost for you.
