Lymphoedema Clinic
Lymphoedema is a chronic condition that involves
swelling which may affect a patient's arms, legs or other parts of the
body. This may be caused by conditions such as cancer or their
treatment or it can be congenital.
The service offered at Rowcroft aims
to enable the individual to improve the condition by exercise, massage,
wearing of compression garments and skin care. This nurse led service
sees over 600 patients each year.
