Light up a Life 2011  

 

Christmas is a time of celebration and sharing but also a time to reflect with family and friends. 

 

Rowcroft Hospice invites everyone, not just those touched by hospice care, to celebrate the memory of loved ones at this special time of year. 

 

By taking part in Light up a Life you will be able to make a dedication, which will be included in one of nine leather-bound Books of Light. The books will then be displayed throughout the year in the venues holding Light up a Life services. 

 

There is also the opportunity to dedicate a light on the Rowcroft Tree of Light, as a symbol of remembrance. The tree, sited outside Rainbow House in the hospice grounds, will be illuminated at a special service held at Rowcroft. The lights will then stay on throughout the dark winter nights over the Christmas period until the beginning of January. 

 

 

Light up a Life services will take place throughout South Devon. Each service will include the lighting of candles, songs, readings and the blessing of the Book of Light.
