A BIG NIGHT OUT TO MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE 

Following its hugely successful first year the Big Midnight Walk returns, and this year it will be even bigger! Last year’s Big Midnight Walk raised an amazing total of £190,000 for Rowcroft Hospice and Macmillan Cancer Support! By taking part in the Big Midnight Walk you could help make a real difference. 

 

GATHER THE GIRLS FOR A SPECIAL 

SATURDAY NIGHT OUT 

Gather together your friends for this fantastic night out with a difference. We hope to see 2000 ladies take part in the 13 mile sponsored walk along the stunning South Devon coastal route. This special night promises plenty of giggles, refreshments, entertainment and all under the light of the moon and twinkling stars. The route starts at the Torbay Leisure Centre and takes in the beautiful scenery along the coast to Babbacombe (you can opt out half way and jump on one of our minibuses!) and loops back for the return leg.  

 

EVERY PENNY YOU RAISE 

GOES TO TWO VITAL CHARITIES 

Macmillan Cancer Support are a source of support, helping with all the things people affected by cancer want and need, and a force for change, pushing for better cancer care. One in three will get cancer and 1.2 million of us are living with it. Macmillan Cancer Support in Devon needs to raise at least £600,000 to continue to help improve the lives of people living with cancer. 

 

Rowcroft Hospice is a local charity, providing specialist care to over 1000 people every year in South Devon, who are living with life limiting illnesses. Rowcroft provides physical, emotional, social and spiritual support when people are seriously ill, to help them live life to the full. All our services are provided with no charge to our patients or their families. Rowcroft receives limited funding from the NHS and needs to raise over £4.3 million every year to continue caring. 

 

The entry fee is just £10 per walker. Each walker will receive a special ‘Big Midnight Walk’ t-shirt, a goodie bag on the night as well as a well-deserved cuppa and a bacon butty at the finish line. You will be asked to raise as much sponsorship as possible. Registration forms will be available from Friday 27th February.
