Hospice Shops

Rowcroft's shops raise a fantastic amount of money for the hospice - and donating your unwanted goods or making a purchase in the shops is a great way of supporting the hospice, as well as doing your bit for the environment.

There are nine Rowcroft charity shops in South Devon, selling a wide range of donated goods including clothes and bric-a-brac. The Rowcroft shop in Reddenhill Road, Babbacombe, specialises in good quality furniture, books, bric-a-brac, records and cds. Rowcroft shops are open Monday - Saturday, 9am - 4.30pm.

Each shop has a manager, a deputy and a committed team of volunteers who sort, hang, price and sell an enormous amount of donated goods each year. We are always in need of volunteer help in our shops and you don't need any previous retail experience, as full training will be given.

Donate your unwanted goods

The shops would be grateful to receive good quality items, especially:

• Ladies, Men's and children's clothing

• Bric-a-brac (glassware, pottery, jewellery, silverware, ornaments, pictures etc)

• Books (for adults and children)

• Household items (bedding, soft furnishings, kitchenware etc)

• Toys and games

• Music, records, cds, dvds and video goods

• Small electrical items in good order

Please note we are extremely grateful for your donations, however, we are unable to accept large electrical goods (white goods). We can collect larger items such as furniture or undertake house clearances, for details please call the hospice on (01803) 217644.
