Community Groups

Rowcroft Hospice relies heavily on support and contributions from local community groups such as churches, rotary clubs, scouts and guides, fire brigades, round table, Masonic lodges and faith groups.

Last year alone, fundraising within our community raised an amazing £130,000.

If you are a member of any local group who would like more information on supporting the work of the hospice, be it through financial donations, or man power/ expertise please contact us and we can give you lots of advice on getting involved no matter how large or small the ‘donation’.

Examples of help we receive from Community Groups:

  • By organising the annual Cockington Proms Torquay Lions were able to buy Rowcroft a brand new minibus to transport patients

  • The Forget-me-not Club organises an annual Tea at Three to raise funds for Rowcroft

  • The Brixham Soroptimists adopted Rowcroft Hospice as their charity of the year and raised £5,500

Talks to community groups
