Pat and Puzzle

06 August 2015 Posted by Rowcroft Hospice

Last week a patient on our Inpatient Unit, Pat West, travelled to her home in Ipplepen with Rowcroft Occupational Therapist Sarah and Physiotherapist Lucy where she met her granddaughter's new horse, Puzzle, for the very first time.

"My granddaughter has only had Puzzle for two weeks," she explained, "but he is cool calm and collected, he has not put a hoof wrong!

"I was delighted to meet Puzzle and see my granddaughter. She rides every day if possible."

Occupational Therapist Sarah added: "It is being able to share and witness incredible moments like this that makes Rowcroft such a special place to work; we truly believe in making every day the best day possible for our patients and their families and to be able to see how delighted Pat was to meet Puzzle and see her granddaughter was very special."
